Our Educational Program for 2002  

The tours in this catalogue are our suggestions only. They can be altered to suit your individual requirements. We have a vast array of educational tours from one-day charters to 4 day extended tours. Additional tours can be arranged to Queensland, taking in the Great Barrier Reef, South Australia, Tasmania and Central Australia. The cost of these tours are on application and can be arranged for the amount of days you require.
No matter what you are studying, Relaxaway Tours will make your excursion a very informative and educational one. Our Coach Captains have a vast knowledge of local, country and interstate area’s and will assist with commentary if you require.
We also have a variety of educational one-day charters to Old Sydney Town, Minnamurra Falls, The Blue Mountains, The Megalong Valley, Parramatta Historical, Sydney, Wollongong & Port Kembla, Richmond & Windsor Historical and The Quarantine Centre at Manly.
Relaxaway Tours can offer your school 5 star video  equipped luxury touring Coaches and Charter Buses with vehicles ranging in size from 29 to 55 seats.

Canberra, our Nations Capital is a wonderland of educational learning
Depart School – Day 1: 7.00am              Return School – Day 2: Approximately 6.00pm

We travel via the Hume Highway, with a short stop at Sutton Forest for refreshments (Students own expense). From here we join the Federal Highway and travel alongside the amazing Lake George arriving in the Australian Capital Territory for the start of the tour. 

Tour inspections include: A visit to Regatta Point National Capital Planning and Display Centre, here you will learn of Canberra’s past and future developments with Audio Visual, Photographs and Displays. Australian War Memorial, a vast collection of historic events in world battles. The High Court, this is Australia’s highest office of the law, Parliament House, located on Capital Hill, The Parliamentary Education  Program Centre, here the students will be introduced to the workings of Parliament. The National Art Gallery, see the ever changing displays of local and international works. Royal Australian Mint, see where Australian and International coins are produced with a vast display of medals and medallions. The National Library, see the expansive collection of Australian and world literature, paintings, microfilm and digitally recorded material. We take in the views of Black Mountain and Telstra Tower.
We also travel passed the Prime Ministers Lodge, The High Commission and the many Embassies, we also see the Carillion and The Australian & American War Memorial, a visit to Mount Ainslie and a drive through the Royal College of Duntroon.

Tour Cost Include: Video Equipped Touring Coach, Economy Motel Accommodation with dinner on day one, breakfast day two. Lunch on day 2 is provided and all listed inspections.
